Lexus of Brighton was a proud sponsor of the Sussan Women's Fun Run 2009.

The event was held on Sunday, December 6th at Catani Garden in the Bayside suburb of St Kilda.  All money raised from the event was donated to the Breast Cancer Network Australia which is also a nominated charity of Lexus of Brighton's preferred charity, Tour de Cure.

The second annual Girls Day Out was held at Southern Golf Club on Friday, September 18, with perfect golf weather.

From the golfing clinic to the golf course there was a lot of laughter, a lot of pampering and a lot of new friends made. More importantly, thanks to the overwhelming generousity of everyone in attendance, plus our wonderful sponsors, the day raised over $3000.00 for our chosen chairty of Tour de Cure.

The 2009 Lexus of Brighton Invitational took place on Monday, September 21 at Southern Golf Club.

With near perfect weather, all participants had a great day either taking part in the tournament or trying their hand in the golf clinic.  It was great to see so many new faces at the event and also catch up with our regular golfers.

We had lots of winners on the day, with the awards ceremony taking place over a well deserved lunch.

A big thank you to everyone attended who helped make the day such a success.

On the 27th October the Jewish National Fund (JNF) held their Gold Patrons dinner in the Lexus of Brighton showroom.

Two of the world’s leading entomologists, Prof. Miktat Doganlar and Dr John La Salle joined JNF in celebrating the success of the JNF Gold Patrons Gall Wasp Research Project.  Both speakers discussed the project’s impact on the environment and the world economy.

Lexus of Brighton’s annual golf tournaments took place on Friday, September 12th and Monday, September 22nd at Southern Golf Club.

Both days put everyone’s golfing skills to the test with strong winds helping (and sometimes not helping) make our way around the greens.  The golf clinic was well received and no doubt there will be a few extra experienced  golfers on the course next year.

Next year’s tournaments will be taking place once again at Southern Golf Club on Friday, September 18 2009 and Monday, September 21 2009.

Spring Racing Carnival was on everyone’s mind on Wednesday, August 27th, with Kim Fletcher Millinery Art coordinating a fashion parade hosted in the Lexus of Brighton showroom.

Kim’s range was creative and fun and gave a great indication of what styles will be ‘in fashion’ for the upcoming Racing season.
