Southern Golf Club

The Southern Golf Club was awarded the 2007 'Golf Club of the Year' award at the annual Clubs Victoria Achievement Awards in December 2007. The award takes into account all facets of the Club industry, including golf, bowls, football, racing, social clubs and the like.
Southern is considered to be one of the best golf clubs in the state. The award is judged on all facets of the golf club, including promotion of membership, course conditions, local community support, staff training and development and many other little things that make Southern a 'club' and not just a golf course.

Old Brighton Grammarians Football Club
Old Brighton Grammarians Football Club (OBGFC) is an Amateur Football Club competing in Under 19s, 3rd 18, Reserves and Seniors of the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA).
The Club is developing on field and off, working hard to establish itself as one of the strongest A Grade amateur clubs. OBGFC’s goal is to continue to put together competitive playing groups and grow the brand as a community club by offering superior social events and building mutually beneficial partnerships.
