Lexus of Brighton understands time does not come easy. For this reason we have developed our exclusive Car Wash For Life Programme.

This service is only available to Lexus of Brighton clients* and entitles you to a free hand wash for the lifetime that you own your new or pre-owned Lexus.

Wash For Life is in operation 6 days per week so whether you are visiting the Peninsula, or just taking on the lovely sights of Brighton, why not have your vehicle looking its best?

Besides the obvious benefits this service provides by protecting your investment, it also protects the environment. Following are some further points that were also a major motivation to begin this service:

  • High pressure car wash facilities are allowable under Phase 2 water restrictions.
  • Designated car wash facilities save water and create employment.
  • Based on the current usage of Wash For Life we estimate the water saving to be around 2400 litres per car per annum which equates to an annual water saving to the community of 50 million litres per annum at our current clients usage rate of our Wash for Life facility.
  • To wash the average car will take a householder about 11.5 buckets of water (about 60 litres of water) of which all will enter the storm water system untreated.
  • The average household shower fitted with a Water Saver Showerhead allows 7.5 litres per minute to pass through it.
  • Wash For Life pre wash cycle uses around 4 litres of water and takes about 30 seconds.
  • Wash For Life wash cycle is by sponge and hand labour using about 400 mils of water and takes around 2 minutes.
  • Wash For Life rinse cycle uses around 8 litres of water and takes about 1 minute.
  • Wash For Life rinse water passes through a complete ironisation process for virtual spot free drying (No need to chamois the car dry).
  • All waste water passes through a Sperator, is then filtered to a finer grade than is required by the Environment Protection Authority and released into the sewer system.
  • No waste or contaminate water is able to pass into the storm water system.
  • Grey water re-usage at present is about 10%.
