The guidance of DVD–based Satellite Navigation

You'll be directed efficiently to your destination by an advanced Satellite Navigation system*. Being a DVD based system it displays the three most efficient routes to your destination on the Electro Multi Vision (EMV) screen faster than you can unfold a paper map. You'll be guided by visual maps and spoken commands, making paper maps a thing of the past.

The warmth of a heated steering wheel

The woodgrain-look and premium steering wheel is heated for comfort on frosty mornings. It also incorporates controls for the audio system, Bluetooth®** and Active Cruise Control. A paddle shifter in the LS 460 Sports, inspired by Formula One, allows you to change the shift position while driving without removing your hands from the steering wheel. This gives you more responsive control over the vehicle during more spirited driving.

Environmentally sensitive climate control a breath of fresh air

Environmental innovations ensure the climate control is less damaging to the environment. An energy conservation control reduces the power necessary to run the air conditioner and to improve fuel efficiency when the vehicle is in ‘ECO Drive’ mode.

Climate controlled seats with memory

Whatever the weather, the comfort of Climate Controlled front seats keeps you refreshed on long hot journeys, or toasty warm on cool days. Power adjustment lets you easily tailor settings to maintain your preferred posture, while the memory function allows your preferred settings to be instantly recalled at the touch of a button.

Responsive power console and glovebox doors

For your convenience, the console lid opens automatically with just a gentle touch of your fingertips.

The personalised comfort of four–seat climate control***

Your passengers in the outer rear seats, the driver and the front passenger can each enjoy personalised comfort settings independently of each other with four–seat independent climate control. A total of 14 vents ensure even distribution of air. Conveniently, rear seat occupants can tailor temperature settings via the rear seat console.

A cooler cabin with power rear sunshades‡

For rear seat passengers, power operated sunshades emerge from the rear doors and across the rear window, at the touch of a button. With similar ease, the rear window sunshade automatically retracts whenever reverse gear is selected, allowing the driver to clearly see behind.

Audiophile quality Mark Levinson audio system

Immerse your mind in the virtual concert hall dynamics of a 19–speaker, 450W audio system with 15 channel amplifier, by world renowned designer Mark Levinson. Designed specifically for the LS 460's cabin acoustics, it has WMA/MP3 compatible 6–disc in–dash DVD/CD changer and Automatic Sound Leveliser, which fine tunes sound quality as you drive. It also incorporates an AUX and USB port allowing you to plug in your iPod® or similar MP3 players.

Rear Seat Entertainment System***

For rear seat passengers, the surround sound system is complemented by a power operated 9" Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen, integrated within the ceiling, letting you play DVD movies at the touch of the remote. Additionally movies can be played on the front Electro Multi Vision (EMV) screen while the vehicle is stationary.

*Current navigation mapping database encompasses major capital and primary national road networks as well as offering some coverage in regional areas.

**Bluetooth® will only operate with telephones enabled with compatible Bluetooth® wireless technology (HFP (Hands Free Profile) v1.0 and OPP (Object Push Profile) v1.1 or later international standards). OPP functionality only works on satellite navigation equipment.
